Proven processes and past experience enable successful operational assurance activities and framework for future projects

Project Scope:
ODL's involvement for the deepwater Tombua-Landana project included provision of complete operations manuals, maintenance manuals and subsea and training materials for the facilities, as well as provision of a training plan for vendor-specific specialised equipment training.
Project deliverables included the following:
- Operations manuals (facility design, equipment, control systems and procedures)
- Maintenance manuals (maintenance routines, diagnostics, equipment maintenance and isolation activities)
- Training manuals (utility, safety, productions and modules)
- Virtual plant model
In addition, ODL provided CMMS and spare parts services, which included the following:
- Vendor-recommended operating spare parts list consolidation and SPIR lists preparations
- Standardization of SPIRs data including descriptions
- Communications with vendors requesting required/missing spares data
- Preparation of SPIR data as inventory loadsheets for populating the JD Edwards ERP system
- CMMS master equipment list and hierarchy data development for populating the JD Edwards ERP system
- Preventative maintenance and bill of materials data development for populating the JD Edwards ERP system

- Established proven processes that could be leveraged across Chevron organization for development of future operational assurance activities.
- Past ODL and Chevron collaboration experience was applied to activities such as OEM data collection, saving time and reducing resource requirements.
