Project Scope
Wood Group has been supporting EG LNG since 2003 in the engineering, construction, operation and maintenance of its $1.5 billion plant on Bioko Island. The plant began operation in 2007 and its first train has a capacity of 3.4 million metric tonnes per year. More than 600 million gross cubic feet per day of dry gas from the Alba Field will be processed through the plant. EGLNG comprises four companies including Marathon, Sonagas (the EG National Gas Company), Mitsui & Company and Marubeni Corporation.
