LNG Plant Manpower and Support Services
Provision of manpower and operations support services to assist with effective operation of LNG facility in Equatorial Guinea.

Wood Group has been supporting EG LNG since 2003 in the engineering, construction, operation and maintenance of its $1.5 billion plant on Bioko Island. The plant began operation in 2007 and its first train has a capacity of 3.4 million metric tonnes per year. More than 600 million gross cubic feet per day of dry gas from the Alba Field will be processed through the plant. EGLNG comprises four companies including Marathon, Sonagas (the EG National Gas Company), Mitsui & Company and Marubeni Corporation.
Wood Group provides nearly 150 personnel in the following disciplines for the EG LNG plant:
- Provision of a skilled team of engineering and construction for project management team during the installation of the project, assisting EG LNG with critical operations expertise and knowledge.
- Provided recruiting, training and integration of a multi-national workforce to achieve project nationalisation requirements.
