I'm seeing the world with Wood Group. I didn't expect to have that opportunity so early in my career. I'm from just south of Glasgow and Wood Group recruited me from the University of Strathclyde as part of its graduate rotation program.

That program's given me the chance to travel near and far, with a different placement every six months...first in Aberdeen working with gas turbine accessories. The second was in Dubai and the third was back in Aberdeen with Rolls Wood Group.

Now I'm on Number Four, working with heavy industrial engines back in Glasgow. I learn something new every day, and the value of the rotation program is being clearly demonstrated in my present placement. I'm drawing on all the experiences I've had so far, combining knowledge and on the job experience. I also stay in contact with the graduates who came in with me. We're constantly communicating, working together to solve problems. Coupled with the veterans here at GTS, there's always someone who can help get the answers.

Wood Group feels likes it's a small company, that's what I like. I can talk to anyone. It's quite an open company that's shown its willingness to invest in the potential of the employees. Since my aim is to work my way up in the firm, Wood Group is the right place to do it.
