Safe, reliable maintenance for Woodside in Gippsland
Visit our team at stand C57 to discuss how we’re helping clients deliver energy projects across the full gas value chain. Whether you’re looking to accelerate project delivery, improve operational performance or extend asset life, our specialists are looking forward to connecting with you to see how we can add long term value to your gas, hydrogen, LNG and low carbon assets and projects.
Book a meeting with our team in advance by emailing below, or stop by the stand to discover how we’re helping shape the future of a secure gas sector.

The advent of Agentic AI this has changed what is possible when it comes to optimising field wide gas lift and profit. David will present a paper that discusses an approach for optimising gas lift on a field-wide basis using autonomous AI agents and a physics-based model that have the objective of maximising net profit in real time.

AI growth is constrained by power infrastructure delays, making speed-to-market critical. This paper compares upstream gas-powered data centres and downstream LNG terminal hubs. Upstream designs deploy quickly, while trigeneration can improve efficiency to PUE <1.2. Downstream hubs use LNG cold energy recovery to achieve similar efficiency with lower cooling costs where co-location is feasible.

Farahidayu will present a CFD-troubleshooting study on recurring weld cracking in a high-pressure heat exchanger of an ammonia plant, where hydrogen damage occurred despite operation within API guideline limits. Transient CFD analysis revealed that rapid temperature drops during shutdowns generated localised thermal stresses, accelerating hydrogen-related damage mechanisms. A simple and cost-effective mitigation, such as implementing a bypass line, was proven to reduce thermal shock and help prevent further weld cracking.

At this year’s event, Wood and EY are leading critical industry discussions on how AI is transforming energy systems, from project delivery through to operations, at an exclusive roundtable.
Focus is shifting from pilots to real-world deployment at scale, and the organisations that successfully embed AI across their assets will define the next standard for operational performance and competitiveness.
A report will be available post event, capturing the actions that need to be taken now to realise the AI opportunity for this gas market.
