Wood awarded significant engineering contract by Saudi Aramco
Wood has been awarded a Long-term Agreement (LTA) by Aramco to support in-kingdom capital projects.
The five-year agreement, with the option to extend by a further three years, enables Wood to deliver complex engineering, design and project management services in support of Aramco’s strategic energy roadmap for oil and gas, refining, petrochemical and lower carbon hydrogen projects.
Nick Shorten, Executive President of Projects at Wood, said: “This agreement reinforces our position as a trusted delivery partner for Aramco and reflects our long-term commitment to supporting Aramco’s energy portfolio.”
Wood has partnered with Aramco for over 30 years. In 2024, the company secured a significant engineering services contract for Aramco’s Southern and Northern Areas gas increments project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supporting the country’s goal of increasing gas production.
The company has approximately 900 employees in-kingdom and will work in collaboration with their Reading office, UK to deliver the engineering design work under the LTA.
